Responsibilities:
- Preparing and conducting contract and price negotiations for medium to large volumes to contribute to the profitability of the company
- Defining of procurement strategies to ensure the long term, cost effective supply of materials
- Implementing alternative procurement sources to minimize stock replacement times, inventory levels and costs
- Maintain regular contacts with interface partners to recognize developments (in market, demand, etc.) and exert influence accordingly
- Monitoring the national and international market to bring new suppliers, product derivatives, and product innovations into the purchasing portfolio
- Undertake supplier management to gain the best suppliers and guarantee an optimum supply chain
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from reputable university
- Have several years experience in procurement as well as cross-functional experience
- Have experiences in handling project and have deep knowledge in the process
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office and SAP
- Good problem solving and analytical skill
- Good initiative and result orientation
- Good interpersonal and communication skill
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Ability to work under time constraints and adapt to change
- Willing to be placed in Cilegon
